Christian studied area studies with a focus on China and law at the University of Cologne and at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. He began his professional career in Shanghai and Zhongshan.

Through his studies and his many years as a resident of China, Christian has keen insight into local communities and culture, including people’s day-to-day concerns – an important prerequisite for his successful practice advising our clients and candidates in China.
